Laurent manages Solidiance's Myanmar office since its opening in 2011. Laurent has been continuously living in Yangon since 1998. He is one of the very few foreigners who has been working, investing and advising companies in Myanmar for the past 15 years. As a result, Laurent has been able to build an extraordinary Myanmar market knowledge, unmatched cultural/commercial understanding, an unparallelled network amongst distributors, key Myanmar businesses, and key influencers. Laurent has advised a wide range of organizations entering Myanmar, specifically in the industrial sector, power, infrastructure and manufacturing. He is regionally recognized as a Myanmar business expert. Laurent is an MBA graduate from University of Law in Lille, France. Laurent is a native French speaker and is fluent in English as well as in Burmese language.
Nan Kay Thi Kyaw - Consultant
Nan Kay is a consultant based in the Solidiance's Yangon office. She supports the project execution to understand the Myanmar market landscape, analyze Myanmar market opportunities, map Myanmar distribution networks, profile Myanmar potential customers, and complete Myanmar investment / manufacturing feasibility studies. She has formerly worked in the industrial sector for 10 years and is well-experienced in AutoCAD, cost and production management. Nan Kay holds a Bachelor of Economy from the University of Yangon. She also holds a diploma in Management and Accounting from LCCI, in the UK. She is a native Burmese speaker and fluent in English.
Win Naing - Consultant
Based in Solidiance's Myanmar office, Win had more than 12 years of working experience. Win helps the team to develop actionable insights and prepare strategies for clients to enter and expand their business in Myanmar. He is well-versed in the manufacturing sector and was formerly the deputy general manager and managing director of large Myanmar manufacturing plants. Win holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Yangon. Win has completed advance Myanmar market survey courses. Win supervises our analysts in their Myanmar data collection exercises and helps to turn Myanmar Market Intelligence into actionable Myanmar market strategy recommendations.
